This edition of The Anorak Hour features:
Ronan Collins, Gerry Ryan and Jim O’Neill sing for RTÉ Radio 2’s 5th Birthday on a 7” single release from 1984;
Then on the flipside, Willie O’Reilly plays some sample jingles and promos from the same year;
Following that there’s a recording of The Two Tonys from 1987 on NDCR;
Then there’s a sample of Dr Don on ARD from 1978;
And from two weeks before the programme was broadcast it’s Dr Don (Donald Moore) again, interviewed by Daire Nelson on LMFM Radio;
The next item is a 1994 interview by Shaun Tilley with ‘The Royal Ruler’, Tony Prince, in which he looks back at his radio career;
Finally Pete Reed with the week’s broadcast news.

This recording, off 94.1MHz, is from May 23td 2000. It starts at 2.20pm and features Ronan Devitt on air.

At this time ESG were also available on 93.8MHz.
