May 14th 1983 was the date set for Operation Novacare 1983, an annual charity fundraiser ran by Radio Nova.
In the first recording Declan Meehan is on air from the studios from 9.56am, whilst Nova personalities are on location in Dún Laoghaire Shopping Centre.
Tony Gareth takes over from Declan at 2pm

Gareth O’Callaghan and Cathy Quinn were charged with entertaining early risers in the capital from 7.30am.

From May 9th 1988 this is Q102’s Star in the Sky breakfast show with Scott Williams and Mike Hogan.
Later that morning Gareth O’Callaghan took to the air and this is his show from 10.25am.
Christmas Eve 2004 on 2FM from 11am with Gerry Ryan and guests; followed by Gareth O’Callaghan; & then Rick O’Shea from 2pm.
Gareth O’Callaghan launches 4FM, a new multi-city station for the over 45s, at 6am on February 27th 2009.
