From the very short-lived Capitol Radio, which broadcast in Dublin in 1982, this is a special Anorak show presented by Peter Madison.
Broadcast on 97.7MHz on August 14th at 11pm, the programme’s date and time coincided with the introduction of the Marine Offences Act outlawing offshore pirates in the UK in 1967. Peter talks us through the history of the stations drawing from his own personal experiences.
Featuring a pair of mid-morning presenters conjuring up some very enjoyable radio, this is a recording of the Radio Nova spin-off station Magic 103 with the indisputable and much-missed talents of Peter Madison and Bob Gallico. The date is July 22nd 1985 and the tape started rolling at 10am.
