CORK BROADCASTING COMPANY
Cork Broadcasting Company appeared on 230 metres in January 1978. Ran by Don Walsh (DJ Daniels) and Stevie Bolger, CBC was located in a warehouse on St Patrick’s Quay.

They were raided in March 1978, just a few days after taking part in Cork’s Patrick’s Day Parade.
In July 1978, Bolger, unhappy with the station’s non-stop music output, left to form Alternative Broadcasting Cork.
CBC was again raided on September 13th 1978, as was Bolger’s station. They were back on air within 24 hours.
They eventually stopped broadcasting in September 1979.
