CORK BROADCASTING COMPANY
Cork Broadcasting Company appeared on 230 metres in 1978. Ran by Don Walsh (DJ Daniel) and Stevie Bolger, CBC was located in a warehouse on St Patrick’s Quay.
In July 1978, Bolger, unhappy with the station’s non-stop music output, left to form Alternative Broadcasting Cork.
CBC was raided on September 13th 1978, as was Bolger’s station. They were back on air within 24 hours.
