CITY FM
The Capital’s Music Source
Dublin dance & R’n’B station City FM was a short-lived station from the Frank Kennedy stable. Launched as a replacement for Hot FM & The Vibe after the infamous Black Tuesday raids of May 2003, the station first appeared on test in June 2003.
Within days they were visited by ComReg and warned about their link transmitter, although they officially denied this.
City FM disappeared abruptly in August 2003 when it was replaced by the returning Hot FM.
