RAIDIÓ BAILE ÁTHA CLIATH
Raidió Baile Átha Cliath was founded in 1966 by Ken Sheehan and was the original name for Radio Dublin (Baile Átha Cliath is Dublin in Irish).
The station was located in Drimnagh, at Ken’s home and broadcast for a couple of hours on Sundays on 255metres.
By 1968 Ken had handed operations of the station over to Prince Terry, the only other voice heard during broadcasts. Prince Terry moved the station to his home in Crumlin.
