RADIO CAROLINE DUBLIN
Radio Caroline Dublin was a pirate station which started life as Radio Romeo in 1969 on 300m and its regular broadcasts were made on Tuesday afternoons and Saturday nights.
Based in Dalkey in Dublin the station changed name to Radio Caroline Dublin in 1970 and regular programming was aired on Friday and Saturday nights. It consisted of a diet of pop music, and a DX programme was also aired.
It eventually closed in August 1973.
