GALAXY 101.7FM

Previously known as Fuse FM – which never materialised on air – and Liquid FM, Galaxy 101.7FM was a dance station broadcasting in mono from mid-Louth around the clock at the weekend, and from 6pm – 6am weekdays.
Music policy consisted of commercial dance and club beats, although it originally played Hip-Hop music also.
Liquid FM first appeared using 1w of power in the Spring of 2003, but it wasn’t long before the name was changed, and Galaxy output 12w.
Live programming usually aired for short periods on weeknights, and was sporadic at the weekend. The rest of the time automation was employed.
