Zee 103 broadcast from Omeath, Co Louth in the 1980s. The station took 16 months in planning to get to its launch date of December 11th 1986. This followed a series of test transmissions which started in October.
Broadcasting from Ardaghy House, close to the Northern Irish border, Zee 103 was available on 103.25MHz FM.
Zee played a wide variety of musical genres which were supplemented by hourly news bulletins.
Zee 103 closed on December 31st 1988 to comply with new legislation outlawing pirates.
