Radio Nova have appointed Dublin PR agency Grayling to direct the public relations and communications programme for their launch.
David Tighe, Radio Nova’s CEO, says that the station is planning to storm the extended Dublin area with something brand new and different, when it launches in September 2010.
David continues: “We will be hitting the airwaves with an offering that will appeal to the full spectrum of music aficionados. We will provide a really interesting and compelling balance of music that has stood the test of time, together with the greats of today. Regardless of era or age, all of our listeners will have one thing in common, a love of great music and a sense of boredom with what’s currently on offer.”
Speaking about the appointment of Grayling, David says: “We chose Grayling because of their no-nonsense approach to PR. They were straight talking but understood Radio Nova’s values and what we wanted from a PR consultancy, right from the start. The agency has all the expertise that we need mixed with a real passion for music, so we think there’ll be great chemistry between the two teams.”
Radio Nova will broadcast on 100.3FM. The station’s communications programme will comprise a multi-layered campaign of public relations; advertising and digital communications. The Grayling PR team will be headed up by Rachel Sherry and Lisa Carroll.
Grayling is the second largest independent PR Agency in the world with more than 900 staff across 40 locations in western and eastern Europe, Middle East, Eurasia, the US and Asia Pacific.
