Bray Local Broadcasting August 14th 1981

This recording was made during a visit by a DX Archive touring party in August 1981. Joe Bollard (pictured during this recording) is the presenter of ‘Morning Mixture’, recorded off 828kHz.
Ken Baird, one of the tour party, later wrote: “Joe [was] blind and was helped by a young lad [who] fetched the music for him. Joe cued up the records himself, putting the stylus under a little strain. It was amazing to watch.”
