From July 2nd 2006 this is the first day on air for CIMR (Country & Irish Music Radio) broadcasting to Dublin and the north-east of Ireland under a temporary licence. This recording was made off 94.9MHz FM in Dublin. The station was also available on 107.4MHz.

From July 2nd 2006 this is the first day on air for CIMR (Country & Irish Music Radio) broadcasting to Dublin and the north-east of Ireland under a temporary licence. This recording was made off 94.9MHz FM in Dublin. The station was also available on 107.4MHz.

Technical problems delayed the live launch but first up is a long sample of the type of music the station played with continuous music programming from that Sunday morning.

Next, from 12.40pm, is part of the first live programme with Joe Doyle (pictured above).
