Radiowaves.FM - A tribute site to Irish Radio

Hope FM

Hope FM was a short-lived Dublin religious pirate which broadcast to Dublin in late 1988. It launched in September testing on 104.2MHz before moving to 104.4MHz.
According to Radiowaves Forum member Radio Mad: Hope FM was an interesting concept. Don’t bombard them with religion because you know they won’t listen. Give them a “thoughtful message” on the hour and a current affairs programme for an hour every night between 7 and 8. At all other times, run it as a normal music-led radio station.
