Hometown Radio broadcast from Main St, Castleblayney in Co Monaghan.
It was launched in April 1985 by Tommy Toal (known as Fat Sam) who was the lead vocalist with Maurice Lynch Showband and sang alongside Paddy Cole and The Regal Showband.
They launched on 981kHz and closed down in December 1988.
