Dream FM, off-air on Friday due to transmitter problems, received a visit from the ODTR requesting them to cease transmissions due to interference on the Dublin Cablelink BBC Radio 4 carrier.
DMR FM are running a looped announcement in stereo on 93.2MHz in Dublin.
The announcement states “Frequency check 93.2FM – 1.5kw of power on 93.2. You’ve got Dublin’s Dance Music Radio – DMR FM, broadcasting soon. Stay tuned for more details. Launching soon”
DMR FM – who recently broadcast tests under the name Fantasy FM on 106.9MHz – will start an automated service from Monday on 93.2MHz.
Station power is currently low (140watt ERP) due to the proximity of Raidió na Gaeltachta but will be gradually increased to full power by the time the station launches, which will be mid-September at the earliest.
DMR FM, who have been having link problems after the lovely Irish summer weather of a week ago knocked them off, hope to be back broadcasting on 93.2MHz to Dublin sometime in midweek.
DMR FM has returned to 93.2MHz in Dublin with a weak signal following recent problems which have kept them off-air for nearly two weeks. Station launch plans have been put back until Christmas.
DMR FM are working on a new jingle package which they hope to air by the start of next month. DMR FM broadcast to Dublin on 93.2MHz.

Sun 101FM were just a blank carrier for periods today but returned in the evening. Also blank today was DMR FM and another station blank for a short period was Freedom 92FM.
DMR FM continue to broadcast a blank carrier on their frequency of 93.2FM. Phantom FM’s 102.9FM was also blank for a period this morning and again in the afternoon. Their 91.6FM transmissions continued as normal.
